When Patricia McKnight entered medical school, only six women were accepted in her class of 136—so she knows what it’s like to be a woman in a male-dominated field. She enjoys researching, especially medical topics, as well as practicing tai chi, ballroom dancing, and traveling. Patricia lives with her husband in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.​​
